Nyanza and Swaziland General Information

There is no malaria in our area. Nyanza Farm is situated in the Malkerns valley, in the Middleveld, which has a relatively mild climate.  Rainfall is mainly in the form of short storms in the summer.

Nyanza is 10 minutes drive from Matsapa airport, and 20 to 30 minutes away from the major centres of Manzini and Mbabane. We are approx. 4 hours from Gauteng, and approx. 2-3 hours from the Kruger National Park. Swaziland is ideally located as a stop-over for those travelling through Southern Africa, whether visiting Mpumalanga, Kwa-Zulu Natal, Mozambique or Botswana and Lesotho.

There are numerous border posts through which you can enter Swaziland.  If you are driving a South African registered vehicle there will be a nominal road tax to pay, make sure that you have cash on you to pay this amount.
