CRAFTS AND CURIOS

For those who enjoy the curio and craft shops, we have Baobab Batik at our entrance gate, where you can see how the beautiful batiks are designed and created. Swazi Candles are 2.5 km away where you can watch them making their original candles, and Inqaba Crafts woodcarvers are adjacent to them. Gone Rural for traditional handicraft is 5 minutes away; Mantenga Crafts and the nearby roadside stalls are just 10 minutes away, to name just a few.

For those who would enjoy a sightseeing trip, Ngwenya Glass is well worth the 40 minute drive. It is also an easy stop on your way to or from the Oshoek/Ngwenya border. Here you may watch the Swazi glass blowers creating their beautiful products.

ADVENTURE SPORTS

White water rafting, tubing, abseiling, caving and much more can easily be arranged and booked through nearby Swazi Trails.

They also offer the famous Sibebe Rock challenge for the more serious hikers, as well as Mountain biking – you can even combine a bicycle ride with a tour of our historic and cultural attractions!

Cultural tours Morning or whole day tours by vehicle can also be arranged through Swazi Trails. It is also sometimes possible to organize a visit to a traditional homestead.
